Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurance1
Receive automatic common carrier travel accident insurance coverage for you, your spouse and dependent children when you travel. Charge the full cost of your common carrier tickets to your CAA MasterCard account and you'll be covered up to $100,000 (or $1,000,000 for Premium MasterCard and No Fee MasterCard Cardholders).
Baggage Delay1
If your checked luggage is delayed by more than 4 hours at your final away from home destination, you may be eligible for reimbursement of up to $100 per day for up to three days to purchase essential items. Simply charge the full cost of your tickets to your CAA MasterCard.
Purchase Assurance2
Most personal items purchased are automatically insured against theft, loss or damage anywhere in the world for 90 days from the date of purchase when the full cost of the item is charged to your CAA MasterCard. Covered items will be replaced, repaired or the purchase price will be reimbursed at the insurance company’s discretion.
Extended Warranty2
When you use your CAA MasterCard to purchase most personal items Extended Warranty coverage automatically doubles the original manufacturer’s warranty for up to one additional year. The full cost of the item must be charged to your card.
Flight Delay2
You may be reimbursed for eligible, reasonable living expenses incurred during the period of a delayed flight or missed connection which lasts 4 hours or more to a limit of $500 per day and $1,000 per trip for each insured traveler. The full cost of your tickets must be charged to your CAA Premium MasterCard.
Car Rental Collision/Damage Waiver2
Charge the full cost of your car rental to your CAA Premium MasterCard or your CAA No Fee MasterCard and decline the collision damage waiver insurance offered by the rental agency and you'll be insured for up to 31 days if your rental car is damaged or stolen.
Trip Cancellation2
Trip Cancellation coverage is available to you, your spouse and dependent children travelling with you and/or your spouse when the full cost of their trip expenses are charged to your CAA Premium MasterCard. If an illness, injury or other covered cause prevents you from starting a trip, you will be covered for up to $1,000 of eligible trip interruption expenses, to a maximum of $5,000 for all insured persons on the same trip.
Trip Interruption2,3
Trip Interruption coverage is available to you, your spouse and dependent children travelling with you and/or your spouse. The full cost of their trip expenses must be charged to your CAA Premium MasterCard or to your CAA No Fee MasterCard. CAA Premium MasterCard cardholders will be covered for up to $5,000 of eligible trip interruption expenses, to a maximum of $25,000 for all insured persons on the same trip, if an illness, injury or other covered cause prevents an insured person from continuing the trip. CAA No Fee MasterCard cardholders will be covered for up to $2,000 per insured person for eligible trip interruption expenses, if the death of an immediate family member prevents an insured person from continuing the trip.
Rental Car Accident Insurance1
Receive automatic Rental Car Accident Insurance coverage when you, your spouse and your dependent children charge the full cost of your car rental charges to your CAA Premium MasterCard or your CAA No Fee MasterCard account.
Travel Assistance Services4
Travel Assistance Services provides 24/7 assistance for medical referrals, emergency cash transfers, lost documents and ticket replacements, lost luggage assistance and legal referrals when travelling outside your province or territory of residence. Any costs incurred in connection with these services are charged to your CAA Premium MasterCard account or your CAA No Fee MasterCard account.
