Bridgewater Bank is a member of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), a federal crown corporation created in 1967 to protect the funds of Canadian consumers deposited in member financial institutions, in case of their failure.

The maximum basic protection for eligible deposits is outlined in the brochure “Protecting Your Deposits”, located on the CDIC website.
