In business since 1997 and operating as a bank since 2006, Bridgewater Bank manages a portfolio of close to $3 billion in mortgages and over $400 million in GICs consisting of close to 16,000 mortgages and over 14,000 GIC accounts across Canada. Bridgewater Bank has weathered the recent financial climate by focusing on its foundational priorities of key partnerships, excellent relationships, and solid delivery systems.
Our mortgage products are marketed by our Business Development Managers and offered through a select network of independent brokers across Canada (except Quebec). Supported by an experienced underwriting team, our combined delivery of service, efficiency, and competitive rates is a proven strategy that has effectively established Bridgewater Bank as the lender of choice with many of Canada’s top mortgage brokerage firms. Bridgewater Bank’s GIC products are eligible for protection by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) and are offered exclusively through select members of the Registered Deposit Broker Association of Canada (RDBA). Bridgewater Bank is developing new and unique banking products and service to meet the growing need of discerning Canadians.
